Newborn 03:43
NEWBORN I saw it in your eyes That something changed your mind While falling from the skies of man And once you realized That all was built were lies And the pain you feel was yours and mine Just breathe now You’ll know how Embrace your life today Come forth now, It’s all about Embracing life today That moment changed your heart A kindle hope for a new start To break loose from the fears inside But could you say That life’s gonna be any different And that fear won’t cross your way? CHORUS SOLO But life is just a game May go back being the same It depends on how you meet you ends
3.
Who We Are 04:21
WHO WE ARE Watching, trying, falling Rise with your own strength The reason is simple We always have to overcome The fears and tears And stand for what’s to come That’s what we are due And to feel is our prize It makes us who we are Passionate beings And makes us gaze the stars To find our meaning The things that we’re after May change all our lives But what makes us what we are These amazing creatures Is our loving heart Questions, rising, proposing We are not alone I see me, through you And so we’ll have to overcome Through fears and tears And stand for what’s to come That’s what we are due So come to my side It makes us who we are Passionate beings And makes us gaze the stars To find our meaning The things that we’re after May change all our lives But what makes us what we are These amazing creatures Gathering pictures of our life Changing features in our mind For a brand new start And when the odds are turning I see that we are learning Together, we grow SOLO It makes us who we are Passionate beings And makes us gaze the stars To find our meaning The things that we’re after May change all our lives But what makes us what we are CHORUS
4.
IT TAKES TIME Once we lived in a world of fantasies Only aware of our destinies There we were, so close together But when you think of it We might as well been worlds apart It was lonely then, we felt empty Tearing us apart It takes time to heal And dealing with the anger And all those ghosts before us Haunting, so that we open our eyes It takes time to heal And dealing with the answers What lies here before all of us Are the pictures of our insanity And the more we tried to fall behind To turn away and forget our lives As a child scared in our rooms at night But now it feels as there is always light CHORUS It takes time X2 SOLO CHORUS
5.
RIGHT OR WRONG Saying yes or no Is it better than saying nothing? Should we make our rules And let them guide your inner purpose? What is there to find? Everyone does it so I presume it’s right What is there to hide? Right or wrong, This unshakeable feeling inside Is it right or wrong If you only believe in yourself Is this right or wrong? What is it that you can’t follow Is there such a thing? The ebb and flow of thoughts and sorrow For not getting everything What is there to find? Everyone does it so I presume it’s right What is there to hide? CHORUS Why this uneasiness, This aching sense of morality? Discriminated, between fame and infamy Opportunities, here and there Ready to be taken Faced with choices Your inner voices Should we follow them? CHORUS
6.
MASS HYPNOSIS There was a time for dreams and hope alike Where there was wonder and truth But like a gust of wind that swept all the land All this was taken from us The "strangers" have come again To propose things we don’t need To convince us of our misery They preached for a better life And we fools believed in lies They’re inducing a mass hypnosis A web of lies Minds in cages it’s mass hypnosis Until you have no life This game of mirrors Tainted all the land And sowed the seed of malice in our souls They sold promises of richness to us All this we had before our eyes They preached for a better life And we fools believed in lies CHORUS SOLO CHORUS
7.
Sow and Reap 03:34
SOW AND REAP Less is more To maintain the war Against the enemies of equity Grace our lords, For they have come to ensure That no one endures The hardships of the past But you sow, and they reap On the pretense of a common goal And they laugh and you weep They are renting your liberty This was how It came to be The fortune of humanity Placed in the hands Of deceivers That fooled us all Naive believers But you sow, and they reap On the pretense of a common goal And they laugh and you weep They are taking your dignity SOLO But you sow, and they reap On the pretense of a common goal And they laugh and you weep They are taking your liberty But you sow, and they reap On the pretense of a common goal And they laugh and you weep They are taking your dignity

BITTER ADDICTION Hey, the answers don’t lay with you, So don’t think of them as your secret Hey, it’s not over what we’ve started So don’t go wasting your arrogance Please don’t turn your back on me Please don’t you do it like this ‘Cause we need you, To understand what we’ve been through Yes we need you, to live our sour lives Of silence we are fed up with And those conversations, We’ve heard them enough We just can’t stand their contempt look As if they were more than someone else Please don’t turn your back on me Please don’t you do it like this ‘Cause we need you, To understand what we’ve been through Yes we need you, to live our sour lives And they hate you, because you take us for fools But we need you, to see for our lives SOLO ‘Cause we need you, To understand what we’ve been through Yes we need you, to live our sour lives And we hate you, because you take us for fools Yes we need you, to see for our lives Yes we need you x4

THE CIRCLE OF DEATH So, this is coming to an end Did they even care? Not even dared to try like some tried, like some tried They’re not the only ones to blame, Even we should be ashamed For giving away our free will, can’t you see it? Hope in the future is faint, all laid to waste Too obsessed to see the signs Humanity being left behind Now these pages, they must not burn And throughout the ages that we’ve roamed We never learned to love our own It’s a burden for loving our delusions And now it's time to let it go, And I understand, that in the name of one goal, One tramples on you We’ve always tried to reason, But were too blind to see our treason To our aching hearts, aching War is our future again, all laid to waste CHORUS Do we really have to carry on and feed these demons inside? It’s still our selfishness that drove this war upon us SOLO CHORUS X2

about

Dystopia is a concept rock album that goes full circle through the best and worst of us, human beings. It has a heavy/rock sonority with great vocal melodies, lots of hooks, guitar riffs and solos throughout. Music can be about telling stories and this is what I went for with this project.
